Bellies and Blazers
Who doesn't love belly cleavage? You know, the part of the belly that peeks under the shirt like under boob. It doesn’t quite fit under the shirt and can’t be tucked in the pants lol. So you just have to let it show, sometimes.
I loved my lil’ belly poking from underneath my logo tees, which made an appearance very often in the vlogs I was able to film during my pregnancy. They were such easy throw ons, and for the days where I did feel cute, I could make a cute lil’ outfit out of them. Take this day, for instance. My thunder thighs hadn’t quite come in yet and my feet didn’t swell too bad, so I was pretty much all belly.
I paired my tee with my handy blazer that I purchased years ago from June Ambrose’s closet sale, along with boyfriend jeans stolen from my counterpart’s side of the closet and dunks.

I remember going shopping this day and swearing off maternity clothes. I refused to by maternity anything, except the panties. Those came in handy. Lol. I still have them, too. I tried to buy things that I’d wear postpartum, no matter what size my body was.
I’ve become more intentional with how I shop and that didn’t change during my pregnancy. I did want to be comfortable but I didn’t want to buy a bajillion things that I would probably want to trash once I gave birth. None of that mattered because I still experienced an identity crisis and a very bittersweet hatred for clothing. I’m slowly getting my love for shopping and getting dressed back.
