Taking Flight
Hoodies celine
Florida, here my pregnant ass come! I went to Ft. Lauderdale, I think? I’m not sure. I was 7 months pregnant and whew, that flight almost sent me to the delivery room. My anxiety is always bad while flying and we had booked two aisle seats because there were no close seats left. So this sweet woman switched seats with us, so I could sit next to my sister. #NeededThat! It was a short flight, but it felt like forever.
It’s something about seeing palm trees that makes me feel like I never want to go home. Lots of sunbathing by the pool, fruit smoothies and shopping - I could do this forever… minus the belly. I felt so heavy! My feet looked like the Hulk’s and I needed to sit down every five minutes. Despite it all, I was having such a good time and I needed a break. Pregnancy was kicking my ass so this trip put me in a really good mood. Maybe too much of a good mood cause I ended up splurging on some Chanel (for me) and Burberry (for my Bean).
I bought a pair of sneakers that would later end up in my sister’s closet… thank you pregnancy for the extra inch for my feet. And I bought a Burberry diaper bag, so I guess that’s still for me, too. Lol. Unfortunately, Burberry does not make strollers because that was on my list of things to buy. I originally wanted the Fendi diaper bag and pram but I made the executive decision against it because I didn’t think I’d use the stroller that much. Turns out, I didn’t so it would’ve been a waste of money.
I had both purchases mailed to my house because big mama did not want to carry anything other than myself and my luggage through that airport. I had brought enough in my bag not knowing how I was going to dress and feel when I got to Florida. So I didn’t need anything extra with me lol.
Well… after doing it once, I give flying while preggers a 7/10! Any other mommies wanna share their ratings and experiences? Let me know in the comments :)
with love,
jassy
